The PHENIX Pelvimeter is a device that works with the PHENIX Liberty and the PHENIX USB Neo.
It connects to a Universal POD, delivered as standard to the pelvimeter if you have a PHENIX Liberty, and to order extra if you use a PHENIX USB Neo.
The PHENIX Pelvimeter ® meets the requirements of the Medical Device Directive 93/42 / EC. It is marked CE 0459.
The PHENIX Pelvimeter is a tool for perineal evaluation and rehabilitation.
It is associated with an evaluation software based on the doctoral thesis of Marcel CAUFRIEZ.
In rehabilitation, it allows to build biofeedback exercises against isometric, concentric and eccentric resistance. Like your fingers, the Pelvimeter reinforces the proprioception, but in addition it simultaneously brings a biofeedback (retrocontrol) to the patient. The learning of perineal locking is faster and fatigue free for the therapist.
Thanks to the wireless technology of PHENIX Liberty and PHENIX USB Neo the use of the PHENIX Pelvimeter is extremely simple and the perineal evaluation (tone test and contractility test) is carried out in a few minutes.
